What Is Simchat Torah?
Simchat Torah marks the joyous completion of the annual cycle of Torah readings. We celebrate by taking the Torah scrolls from the Ark and dancing together in Hakafot. After completing the final portion of the Torah, we immediately begin again from Bereishit, expressing that our connection to Torah never ends.
