$150,000 In 150 Hours For Build Back Better Campaign

It's time.

For 20 years, Wellesley Weston Chabad has been serving the many needs of our community, providing great community connection, programs, services, and spiritual enlightenment, all without barriers and no membership fees or dues required. We have been doing exactly the same for Babson and Wellesley College students, all without ever charging a fee for any student event.

Today, we are excited to embark on our $150,000 in 150 hours campaign, the funds will go towards finishing the building of the FIRST EVER MIKVAH IN WELLESLEY as well as THE FIRST EVER KOSHER STUDENT HOUSING for students wanting to enhance their time in college by living in kosher suites as well as to regular operation and annual budget.

Give Back DOUBLE to Wellesley Weston Chabad

What is Wellesley Weston Chabad?

Chicken soup on Friday night. The light in a child’s eyes when he reads his first Hebrew word. A helping hand in times of need. WWC is a home away from home for every Jew in the area as well as for the Jewish students at Babson and Wellesley Colleges. We are dedicated to serving our community - and now we’re asking for your support to help us build a bright Jewish future together. How does a Match Campaign work? Running an operation like WWC requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbi Moshe and Rebbetzin Geni work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad House can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. To that end, a generous donor has come forward with a proposal to help Chabad thrive this year and make the Mikvah and kosher suites project a reality. The Silverman family will donate $75,000 to WWC, provided that it is matched by an equal donation from our community, friends and supporters. For one hundred & fifty hours only, your dollar will have 2 times the impact!

How can I help?

You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the Jewish community in the Wellesley and Weston areas as well as the local college students by contributing to our campaign this week, and by spreading the word. Maimonides says that every good deed, no matter how small, tips the scale of humanity toward goodness. Today you have the opportunity to see the impact of that deed multiplied many times over. Join us by making a donation today! You can also donate with Venmo @Moshe-Bleich, Cashapp $WWChabad or Paypal [email protected] (friends and family) or by reaching out to Rabbi Moshe 770-733-3219
